Vouliagmeni Square

This square is at the very centre of Vouliagmeni, and it is the place where all of my childhood memories are stored at. I used to come here since I can remember, to meet up with friends, hang out and walk around, pondering at the local shops and eateries. I know all of the restaurant owners around, and that is definitely one of the perks of being a child of the South. You can also see the sea from here, and there are loads of little spots around where I could practice my early-day skating skills. This square has been the source of energy for this neighbourhood, with a handful of restaurants and coffee-shops thriving here over the years. I still remember eating at Louizidis tavern when I was only a kid, and it makes sense, since it’s been there for more than 50 years, serving traditional Greek food that will blow your mind.
