Behind the small park with a fountain in the middle you can see Vigadó Concert Hall. The grandiose building before you is the second largest concert hall in Budapest. Opened in 1865, it is famous for its unique architectural style holding Moor, Gothic and Roman elements. Since its opening, it has served as a social and cultural centre of Budapest. It offers a wide range of exhibitions, concerts and seasonal festivals. Either go in and visit one of the exhibitions on display, or just walk around the square and admire the grand architecture of the building. An additional fun fact about the square is that on Friday evenings in the summer, a group of Salsa enthusiasts come out and dance around the fountain for hours.
