The Wallace Collection

A great museum that is criminally underrated, and a must to visit if you’re looking to escape the hoards of tourists at the more well-known spots. The museum houses the insane private collection of Richard Wallace and was donated by his wife for public display after he died. From 18th Century French art which includes furniture, sculptures and paintings by genius creatives such as François Boucher and Jean-Antoine Watteau. To rare 17th-century military pieces like armour, weapons and more. The place just oozes culture, class and grandeur. Entry is free and for what you get to see, an absolute steal of a deal. The only thing I’d advise is to not try and take any pictures, as the security is pretty strict. Which is only fair.
