It’s now time to introduce to you traditional Greek dining, and get a taste of “cuisine from the City” as we refer to any culinary practices and traditions that originate from Constantinople (Istanbul), the capital of the Byzantine Empire since 1453. It is one of my favourites in Athens, and can be found on the corner of streets Sokratous and Evripidou, just a stone’s throw away from the market. This restaurant inside a butcher shop, is the ideal location to enjoy some meat over a few drinks. You can also buy the products on display which are sourced directly from their in-house suppliers in Drama, at the northern part of the country. Very friendly atmosphere and cosy vibes, and a great selection of rarer wines and craft beer.
