Szechenyi has the most going on of all the bathhouses in Budapest and it can be overwhelming. You have the outdoor section, where you’ll find the two big warm pools with the beautiful yellow building in the back. Lose yourself in Minerva’s mirth. Do the damn cycle baby. Inside there are a bunch of steam rooms, cold plunge pools, hot baths, warm baths, LUKE warm baths, cool baths, cave saunas, herbal saunas, infrared saunas… ok you get the point. Do. It. All. Spend about 5-10 minutes in each chamber and take one final dip outside before you call it quits. There’s a bar as well and if you are feeling extra spicy you can get a massage. Although it’s one of the most crowded and expensive, it’s a place totally worth experiencing at least once.
