Whilst most people head to Hyde Park, I much prefer St James. A green oasis that is slightly less crowded than the others, and home to an epic selection of wildlife. You’ve got your standard squirrels, but the park is also home to some huge pelicans, who have apparently been living in the park for 400 years. Given as a gift to the then King Charles II. It’s also home to Parakeets, which will happily sit on your arm and feed. Rumour has it that these birds were former pets of the late Jimi Hendrix, which he deliberately released into the park. There are also famous flower beds at Buckingham Palace, but to see my favourite part of the park, head to the blue bridge. If you go to the middle, you can see the London Eye on one side, and Buckingham Palace in the opposite direction.
