Royal Observatory

Climb atop the hill in London’s oldest Royal Park for sweeping views of the river Thames and the historic architecture of Greenwich. Set spectacularly against the modern skyscrapers of Canary Wharf and the City of London. To your left lies the Royal Observatory which was instrumental in the history of astronomy and navigation. Although the views are enough to keep you entertained, I’d purchase an entry ticket for the Meridian Line to get an obligatory photo of yourself standing on the Prime Meridian. With one foot on the Eastern and the other in the Western Hemisphere.
