Regent’s Canal is an iconic waterway that cuts across London. Around 14 kilometres in length, it winds like a murky serpent from Maida Vale aka Little Venice in the ‘city’ of Westminster, to the Limehouse Basin by the River Thames in the East. Passing through some of the most interesting parts of the Northern half of the city. These include London Zoo, Primrose Hill, Kings Cross Railway Station, Broadway Market, and Victoria Park, to name a few highlights. A great place to escape the city, whilst being in the heart of the city. I like to stroll along the banks in the summer and watch the colourful houseboats that line the waters.
