Rákóczi Market Hall

The Rákóczi Market Hall is an intrinsic part of the culture and lifestyle in district VIII. The building that stands here today is the renovated site following the fire that destroyed the original building back in 1988. Grab some fruits and vegetables or try street food. From the end of March they organize the bi-weekly Rákóczi Breakfast. (Saturdays from 8.30-11.30) The concept follows the typical community breakfast set up: together with Eldorádó (local food stand), they provide tables, armchairs, toaster, coffee, sugar, napkins and such. Other breakfast essentials are bought locally by the people who join the event. Everything placed on the table at these events is shared out.
