Prince of Peckham packs all the charm of a local boozer, whilst reflecting the vibrance of a progressive South London. The decor is strangely majestic, with leather sofas and wooden seats dotted around the space. Atop huge chandelier, below which lies a treasure trove of booze options. From craft beer to cocktails, the selection of drinks here are extensive, so you’ll have no probs finding something you’ll love. They also do some banging Caribbean grub, cooked by an in-house duo called White Men Can’t Jerk. A hilarious name, but the food they do is pretty serious. The chicken wings are delicious but I’d recommend coming down for the Sunday Roast. A succulent lamb shoulder with all the usual accompaniments. Oh and be sure to keep an eye out on the calendar, they do all kinds of events from parties, pub quizzes and much more.
