Orxateria El Tío Che
Tío Che is an iconic eatery in the old industrial neighbourhood of El Pobleneu that’s been around for years. I usually go for the olives and clams to accompany a cold Estrella and some ice-cream. On each visit, I spend a few hours in the evenings at the terrace tables people-watching in the company of friends. This is also a place famous all over Barcelona for their Horchata. A tasty drink served cold made of ground chufa, rice, or almonds combined with water, sweetened with sugar, and often flavoured with cinnamon. Super friendly staff and fairly cheap.
