This piece of art which is beautifully painted on one of the building walls by Panos Sklavenitis, a well-known Greek artist that has been involved in various projects and workshops around the country. This piece is probably part of his work with the School of Fine Arts and The Ministry of Environment titled “Visual Art Interventions in Public Urban Space – Painting on the Blind Facades of Buildings”. “No Signal” is associated with another famous large scale mural on one of Athens’ building, so it’s quite a surprise to find this little gem on this street. A bit about the creator. He is from Ithaca, an island in Greece, and he recently discovered that he actually went through primary at a special needs school (PIKPA). Ultimately he received a series of academic qualifications that showed his passion about art and have now led him to become an experienced teacher that is deeply involved in the attempt to use art as a means to transform urban environments.
