Marc by Robert Llimós

This colourful bronze beauty is located inside Barcelona’s Olympic Park, on the Spanish as Plaça dels Voluntaris, known in English as Volunteers square. Known as Marc, this genderless sculpture is a namesake of Llimos’s son who passed away in 1995. However, the name has a double meaning as Marc is also the Catalan term for the frame, which is what this figure can be seen holding and looking through. Take a gander from the front and you’ll be hypnotised by its amazing colours. However, if you look from the rear, you also get a terrific view of Barcelona
