Lukács Bath House

Lukacs is a local favourite. It has a scintillating outdoor section as well as a compact indoor labyrinth of thermal medicinal goodness. I love this place so much. Lukacs has the best steam room of any bath house in Budapest. But that’s just one of the many features here. There are 3 thermal pools inside which are all ample in size and feature a gradually increasing temperature gradient. There is also a cold plunge and a sauna which will absolutely cook you. The outdoor section is great as well with a lazy river, a litany of massaging water features and a bar right beside. There is a “sauna village” which costs an extra 1,000 forints or so to gain admission to. Not worth it unless you really, really love saunas in particular.
