Károlyi Gardens

This dreamy garden used to belong to the adjacent Károlyi Palace, which used to be the home of Count Károlyi, Hungary’s prime minister in 1918, but today it houses the Petöfi Literary Museum. Today it is a public garden filled with colourful flowers, romantic benches, and locals enjoying the weather. It is a perfect place to take a break, relax, and get a grasp of fresh air away from the hustle and bustle of Astoria. Károlyi garden is not only ideal to enjoy some nature and sunshine but it is also a great place to grab a bite or a drink. Head to Csendes if you are thirsty but if you also want to grab a bite you can check out Zoska.
