Hungarian Natural History Museum

This museum has the largest collection of natural specimens from the Carpathian basin in the entire world. There are a smorgasbord of botanical, zoological and paleontological exhibits to explore. I’ll be straight with you – this museum is far from the best natural history museum I’ve ever been to and caters mostly to children. Nonetheless, I’d check it out if you are into this type of thing. It’s a nice wander, offers stimulating information and a really cool collection of taxidermied animals. If this type of museum isn’t really your bag then give it a miss and spend your time in the Orczy Garden next door. They have a pretty epic adventure park.
