Handel and Hendrix Museum

George Handel was a composer who spearheaded the baroque style music of the 18th Century. German by birth, he spent 36 years in London and it was here where he composed his most iconic music. Fast forward 200 years later, another legendary musician, Jimmy Hendrix, moved in next door at number 23. The true definition of a rockstar, Hendrix ruled the swinging 60’s, creating classics such as Purple Haze and Along the Watchtower. To commemorate these cult figures, you can now see blue plaques which have been installed outside both number 23 and 25. To learn more about these enigmatic entertainers, head inside to the Handel and Hendrix museum. The museum takes you on a journey into the lives of these icons when they once lived here. That aside, they also welcome guest hosts and performers who’ll help take the experience to the next level/
