This is probably one of the strangest statues in the whole of Barcelona. Created by artist Javier Mariscal, it initially stood in front of the Gambrinus Restaurant, but was moved to Passeig Colom after that closed. Some call it an eyesore but I happen to like its weirdness. The cool thing is that it’s identity is up for debate, with some saying they see a lobster and others saying it’s a smiley giant prawn. I think it’s a lobster personally, but make up your own mind when you see it for yourself.
