Quality, quality, quality. This place exudes quality and offers the most tender meat dishes in town. Farm-to-table veggies accompany every plate with homemade bread and pastas. They’ve got the menu scrawled up in chalk since it changes each day and one of the excellent waiters will walk you through the difficult to read Magyar script. It’s a little bit Italian, a little bit French, a little bit Hungarian and everything good. They’ve also got some of the best Hungarian wines in Budapest with a cellar hand selected by the sommelier and co-owner Csaba. Just like the cuisine the wines all come from small, local producers. And I haven’t even gotten started on the dining room itself. A brilliantly designed space in the bowels of District VII. It’s shaped like a cozy wine cellar and is the perfect setting for probably the best meal you’ll have during your time in Budapest.
