Franzino offers what I would say is the best Sicilian food in all of London. A bold statement, but totally backed up by the authentic food on offer. It’s run by a couple, who used to operate a smaller joint inside pop Brixton before opening their own shop here. Everything is made fresh in the prep kitchen below, even the pasta. I tried the Tagliatelle Nero Di Seppia, mouth-watering black squid ink and calamari pasta dish. Then you have desserts which are to die for. We usually get the platter of good stuff, the perfect way to finish off your meal. They also cater to those with specific dietary requirements, just let the staff known and they’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
