Font de Canaletes
The Font de Canaletes is an iconic symbol of Barcelona’s history, having being used as a water source to supply the city since the 18th Century. The ornate fountain that sits on the Rambla today is a more recent installation, having gone up in 1892. It’s pretty special nonetheless and is still a huge part of the local culture. Since 1939, FC Barcelona fans have gathered here after games to celebrate. A tradition that still continues on to this day.
