This is a super cool cafe set in a historic courtyard that was once part of the largest hospitals in the city. Old Hospital de la Santa Creu. The Gothic and Catalan architecture and buildings date back to the 15th century and provide the perfect setting for a nice refreshing drink. You might come across locals playing chess on a big board laid on the floor, or people taking their dogs for a walk here as well. Honestly, the cafe is ok, with a decent offering of light Mediterranean dishes as well as Spanish tapas. However, the ambience and location take the dining experience here to another level.
