I first went here because my friends had been raving about how good it was. They weren’t wrong and I’d easily vouch for El58 being numero uno when it comes to tapas restaurants in Barcelona. The place is super popular amongst both locals and tourists, so is always buzzing with life. I usually pop down in the afternoon on a weekday, just before the evening and weekend rush. Where you’ll most likely have to wait a while to be seated. The servers are super friendly pay close attention to detail, making sure your up to speed and have all you need. I usually come here friends and we go will ordering all kinds of small plates. My top picks are the Jamon and tomato bread, aubergine, patatas bravas and calamari. One of Barcelona’s best dining experiences no doubt.
