Charles Dickens Museum

Charles Dickens was a real icon, whose words transcended from ink in a book and captivated the imaginations of everyone. He was one of my favourite novelists, so when I found out about his the fact their was a museum in his former home I had to check it out. Honestly, it didn’t disappoint, set over four floors, the place was packed full of memorabilia and artefacts from his life and times. You can stroll self-guided, or get a more in-depth guided tour which is also available in audio. I did the guided tour, and all in all, it was an exceptional experience that i’ll never forget.
