Soho has a real rock’n’roll reputation, however, beyond the bars and restaurants, the area has a rich history. Berwick Street’s is one of the remnants of the yesteryear, having been a Soho staple since the early 1800’s. Ask the locals, and they’ll tell you what an atmosphere once had, buzzing with characters and life. However, with the gentrification of Soho, the market has lost its aura of authenticity and locality. Transforming to a hip and happening local spot packed with a small number of vendors selling produce and tasty grub. The market is usually open until 6 pm, but if you didn’t make it in time don’t worry, you will definitely find a lot of places around to satisfy your desires.
