This street runs through Bermondsey, one of my favourite London hoods. Clearly others feel the same as it was voted amongst the best place to live in London. It has a real village vibe, despite being located a stones-throw away from the hustle and bustle of the big smoke. Once famous for its leather trade and food processing industry; the legacy of the stunning old warehouses and industrial spaces left behind these industries, have been rejuvenated into hip bars, trendy flats, cafés, and art galleries. Bermondsey Street, the heart of the “village”, is the perfect place to soak in the neighbourhood vibes and all that it has to offer.
