Babka is an epic spot with an internationally inspired menu, fresh ingredients and big table sharing concept. The ruin-pubesque interior resembles an upcyclers fantasy land, with antique radios and old rocking chairs melding together to provide a cozy and interesting ambiance. There are plenty of fantastic dishes to sample from around the near east and Mediterranean. The Sabih and Künefe are the particular standout dishes for me. Sabih is a traditional Israeli dish made with baked aubergine, hard-boiled eggs, tahini and salad. The Künefe is a wholesome Turkish sweet cheese dessert that tastes unbelievably angelic. If you fancy the Künefe, let the waiter know beforehand as it takes around 30 minutes to prepare.
