Archipelago

If you’re an adventurous eater like me, then Archipelago will not disappoint. The restaurant is renowned for its quirky style, with mini palm trees, golden buddhas and peacock feathers adorning the inside space. On the menu is a smorgasbord of weird yet wonderful fare from across the world. From crocodiles and pythons to kangaroo’s, zebra’s, alpaca and much more. However, for those less keen on these slightly strange food options, they also have some more “normal” dishes that are still out of this world. I’d recommend trying the Burmese Embrace, a sweet-chilli smoked python carpaccio to start. Followed up with the Rajasthan snap, an Indian inspired crocodile dish. Finish it off with the Bushman’s Cavi-Err, a desert of mealworms cooked in coconut cream and vodka jelly.
